Horse Cave, KY (November 4, 2016)- The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a three vehicle injury collision last night at approx. 4:18 pm on US 31-W in Horse Cave near Martin Road.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Roger Williams (77) of Horse Cave was operating a 2005 Chrysler passenger car and traveling northbound on US 31-W when he went into the southbound lane of travel where he collided with a southbound 2000 Saturn being operated by Chelsea Dilley (26) of Edinburgh, Indiana. Dilley’s car then went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Williams’ vehicle, after striking Dilley’s car, then struck a southbound 2003 Dodge pick-up that was being operated by Inez Hassevoort (54) of Greensburg.
An infant child in Dilley’s vehicle was flown to Kosair Children’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Hassevoort was transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital for multiple injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Master Trooper Timmy Jewell. No other details are available for release at this time.
