Two Arrested in Marshall County on Drug Charges by KSP

GILBERTSVILLE, KY (October 22, 2017) Two local females were arrested for various drug related charges following a Sunday afternoon traffic stop.  At approximately 4:30 p.m., Trooper Eric West stopped a passenger car in Gilbertsville for speeding.  During the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted.  Located during the search were various drugs, paraphernalia, and a sum of money.  More drugs were located during a search of the passenger of the vehicle.

The driver, Lisa A. Ferguson, age 54, of Clinton, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with:

  1. First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
  2. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  3. Speeding
  4. No Insurance.

The passenger, Kaitlin L. Myrick, age 25, of West Paducah, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with the following:

  1. First Degree Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
  2. First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Percocet)
  3. Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Xanax)
  4. Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Suboxone)
  5. Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  6. Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Eric West.
