GILBERTSVILLE, KY (October 22, 2017) – Two local females were arrested for various drug related charges following a Sunday afternoon traffic stop. At approximately 4:30 p.m., Trooper Eric West stopped a passenger car in Gilbertsville for speeding. During the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Located during the search were various drugs, paraphernalia, and a sum of money. More drugs were located during a search of the passenger of the vehicle.
The driver, Lisa A. Ferguson, age 54, of Clinton, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with:
- First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Speeding
- No Insurance.
The passenger, Kaitlin L. Myrick, age 25, of West Paducah, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with the following:
- First Degree Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Percocet)
- Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Xanax)
- Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Suboxone)
- Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Both were lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
