Expect another hot and humid day with scattered thunderstorm activity on Thursday, before our attention turns to how the remnants of Laura will impact our region. We expect rain to move into parts of southeast MO late Thursday night into Friday morning, before spreading across the rest of the area on Friday. Expect heavy rainfall as well as gusty winds and even some severe thunderstorms before the activity ends early Saturday morning. Drier air will filter into the area for a good part of the area for weekend, allowing for less humid conditions and cooler temperatures.
