US60/US641 TRAFFIC ALERT: One Lane Traffic at U.S. 60/U.S. 641 Intersection in Marion


MARION, Ky. (May 12, 2021)  An oversized load has taken out a utility pole and the traffic signal at the U.S. 60/U.S. 641 intersection in Marion.

This intersection is at U.S. 60 mile point 9.2 and U.S. 641 mile point 7.02 just south of the downtown area in Marion.

KYTC personnel are flagging traffic through the intersection at this time.  A utility crew and the KYTC District 1 Signal Crew are en route.

Some delays are likely during the traffic signal and utility repairs.

Estimated duration is 2 hours.

Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.

Passenger vehicles on U.S. 60 may self-detour around this area via KY 981 and KY 91.
